From the streets of New York to the heart of Huntsville, Mozza Pizza's story is a testament to culinary passion and perseverance. Three cousins with Guatemalan roots - Thomas Quijada, Alexis Salazar, and Tino Duarte - honed their craft in New York's finest Italian kitchens for 15 years before bringing their expertise to Alabama. Their relentless pursuit of perfection led them to meticulously refine their dough recipe ten times, adapting to local water conditions until they achieved the holy grail of pizza making: an authentic New York-style crust that's thin, foldable, chewy, and delicately crispy in all the right places.
